When you work with local domains you usually don t have to authenticate yourself to gain access to ADSI objects. If you want to work with objects outside the local domain, or you need to use a controlled account to access objects, you ll need to authenticate yourself through the OpenDSObject method of the IADsOpenDSObject interface. If you check Tables 15-2 through 15-6, you ll see this interface is supported by the LDAP, NDS, and WinNT providers only. Knowing the current location of mobile users (using GPS) and their preferences or sur ng habits, marketers can send user-speci c advertising messages to wireless devices.
